Robos violentos bajaron 42 % los últimos 28 días en Atacama
En lo que va del año los delitos de mayor connotación social han caído un 9 % comparado con el anterior; y entre ellos, los registros de casos policiales por robos han disminuido 8 %.
Los robos de vehículos bajaron 67 % en la última semana y un 27 % en lo que va del año, en comparación con el mismo período del 2019; es decir, 40 casos menos, de acuerdo a las cifras del Sistema Táctico de Operación Policial (STOP), que registra información proveniente de las denuncias que hacen los ciudadanos, permitiendo conocer los lugares y horarios en los que se concentra la actividad delictual.
El jefe de la III Zona de Carabineros Atacama, General Juan Pablo caneo Farías, ofreció los detalles de la medición que además reveló que los delitos de mayor connotación social, que afectan la propiedad, la vida y bienes de las personas, registran una baja de 9 % en lo que va del año, respecto a la misma fecha de 2019, lo que representa 446 casos menos a nivel regional.
En tanto, los robos también han caído y prueba de ello es que los robos con violencia bajaron 92 % la última semana y 67 % los últimos 28 días y 22 % en lo que va corrido del año. Similar ocurrió con los robos con intimidación, los cuales cayeron un 73 % la última semana, 37 % los últimos 28 días y 7 % lo que va del año 2020. El robo por sorpresa es otro de los delitos que ha disminuido un 91 % la última semana, un 56 % los últimos 28 días y un 20 % en lo que va del año.
Las cifras del Departamento de Análisis Criminal, por su parte, arrojan que durante la semana entre el 6 y 12 de julio, Carabineros detuvo a 59 personas por delitos de mayor connotación social. De ellas 24 aprehendidas por delitos violentos y 35 por delitos no violentos (robos). También se detuvo 135 personas por diferentes delitos, entre ellas 30 personas por Violencia Intrafamiliar, 24 por amenazas, 53 por daños, 5 por infracciones a la Ley de Drogas, entre otros.
En el ámbito preventivo, entre el 6 y el 12 de julio, la policía uniformada realizó 3.622 controles vehiculares, cursó 281 infracciones al tránsito, fiscalizó 318 locales de alcoholes, y fiscalizó 495 locales comerciales.
