Pucobre y Enami certifican a participantes del exitoso proyecto “Cultivemos en Comunidad” tras cierre de primera fase
Tras seis meses de arduo trabajo y con la convicción de continuar aportando al desarrollo comunitario de Tierra Amarilla, las empresas Pucobre y Enami realizaron la certificación de la primera fase del proyecto conjunto “Cultivemos en Comunidad”, en la cual fueron reconocidos el compromiso y avance obtenido por los más de 30 vecinos y vecinas, en la construcción de bancales y parcelas agrícolas.
En este sentido, el jefe de Relaciones Comunitarias de Enami, Rodrigo Mora resaltó que “este es un proyecto pionero para la comuna, donde la alianza entre Pucobre y Enami permitió abrir un espacio de capacitación, conocimiento y emprendimiento para vecinos y vecinas pertenecientes a distintas organizaciones de Tierra Amarilla, quienes en esta primera fase y bajo la asistencia técnica especializada, fueron capaces de trabajar colaborativamente en post de cambiar suelos aluvionados por parcelas donde han venido cultivando más de 15 productos”.
En tanto al jefe de relaciones comunitarias de Pucobre, José Escobar dijo que esta destacada iniciativa se suma a importantes proyectos de desarrollo comunitario que la minera promueve en la zona destacándose entre ellos, la Nivelación de Estudios, Concurso de Cuentos, Escuela de tenis , apoyo a las PyMES y muchos otros proyectos. En la oportunidad agradeció a las presentes y las invitó a proseguir durante el 2022 como también invitar a más comunidades a participar de este emprendimiento agrícola ocupando así, más espacio de la superficie disponible.
Desde la mirada técnica, Luis Contreras, Ingeniero Agrónomo a cargo de la coordinación del proyecto, manifestó que “no podemos ser indiferentes al escenario nacional y mundial que se está dando. Para esto es fundamental crear microcentros productivos de alimentos en los barrios, capacitando a los vecinos en la implementación de huertos agroecológicos, de esta forma se aporta a la economía doméstica y desarrollo de la vida comunitaria”.
Indicó además que en la segunda fase de este proyecto, el objetivo será ampliar la superficie de cultivo a fin de aumentar la cantidad cuyo fin estará en implementar verdulerías locales que puedan comercializar los productos sin intermediarios”.
En tanto que, Patricia Alarcón, una de las participantes, y representante de la agrupación “Tú Mundo Mí Mundo” de Tierra Amarilla, aseguró que “agradecemos esta iniciativa de las empresas, ya que se da en un momento bien especial por todo el tema de encierro, y estos nos ayudó a retomar actividades, compartir y sobre todo realizar una actividad tan valiosa como trabajar la tierra, ya que estos eran terrenos aluvionados y hoy día como está es maravilloso, de no creer. Queremos avanzar en plantar y ocupar más espacios, formar una cooperativa y así vender nuestros productos a precio justos”.
Al respecto, el secretario regional ministerial de Agricultura, Patricio Araya Vargas, señaló que «siempre es grato ver cómo se le gana espacio al desierto haciendo agricultura y hoy felicitamos a estas mujeres que han aprendido a cultivar sus propios alimentos. Asimismo, destaco la alianza entre Pucobre y Enami para concretar esta iniciativa, en el marco de su responsabilidad social empresarial con los vecinos de Tierra Amarilla».
En el proyecto participaron 7 organizaciones de Tierra Amarilla, donde destaca la participación de representantes de JJVV Génnesis, JJVV Vertientes 2, Agrupación Nueva Esperanza, “Agrupación Tu Mundo Mi Mundo”, JJVV Estadio, Comunidad Colla Tierra Viva, y JJVV Villa Los Forjadores, quienes ya se preparan para participar de la segunda fase, precisando finalmente que también se podrán inscribir otras entidades interesadas en formar parte del proyecto.
