Prisión preventiva para imputados por atentados explosivos

En prisión preventiva quedaron Francisco Solar y Mónica Caballero, procesados y absueltos del «caso bombas I», en 2012, tras ser formalizados, en una larga audiencia telemática, este viernes en el 11° Juzgado de Garantía por una serie de atentados explosivos en la capital.

Solar está imputado por el envío por correo de paquetes bomba, el 25 de julio de 2019, al ex ministro Rodrigo Hinzpeter en las oficinas del grupo Quiñenco, y a la 54ª Comisaría de Carabineros, de Huechuraba.

El artefacto que iba para el ex secretario de Estado fue desactivado a tiempo por el Grupo de Operaciones Policiales Especiales (GOPE), mientras que la otra estalló, hiriendo gravemente al mayor Manuel Guzmán.

Además, tanto Solar como Caballero son imputados por la colocación de dos explosivos en el edificio Tánica (ex Transoceánica), ubicado en la avenida Santa María de Vitacura, en febrero de este año.

En la audiencia virtual, fueron imputados por los delitos de infracción a la Ley de Armas y Explosivos, además de un delito de infracción a la Ley 20.000 de Drogas, ya que en el domicilio de la mujer se encontró gran cantidad de marihuana.

El Ministerio Público solicitó la cautelar de prisión preventiva de ambos imputados, algo a lo que accedió la magistrada Mónica Vergara luego de una maratónica jornada.
