Positividad cae a 9 % y casos confirmados bajan 35 % desde el peak
El ministro de Salud, Enrique París, informó una vez más que continúa la reducción de la positividad de los tests PCR, con una tasa de 9 % de casos positivos por el total de exámenes realizados, así como que que la cantidad de contagios confirmados registra ya una baja del 35 % respecto del momento con mayor cantidad de infecciones de la pandemia.
En el balance entregado la tarde del domingo informaron que las últimas 24 horas registraron 2.081 nuevos contagios, entre 1.482 casos con síntomas y 473 asintomáticos, totalizando 359.731 personas infectadas desde el inicio de la pandemia, de los cuales 17.712 son casos activos.
Asimismo, indicaron que 75 personas perdieron la vida por consecuencias de la covid-19, lo que elevó la cifra a 9.608 fallecidos confirmados en los laboratorios del país e inscritos en el Departamento de Estadísticas e Investigación de Salud (Deis).
La subsecretaria de Salud, Paula Daza, indicó que a la fecha se mantienen 1.437 personas hospitalizadas en Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI), de las cuales 1.151 están bajo ventilación mecánica, y 234 en estado crítico.
