Partido Igualdad apoya y llama a participar en el Plebiscito del 25 de octubre
El Partido Igualdad, cuyo encargado en la región de Atacama es Juan Manuel Cáceres, también se pronunció con respecto a lo que será el plebiscito a desarrollarse el domingo 25 de octubre, al que han sido llamados todos los habitantes (mayores de 18 años) del país.
“Partido Igualdad por el Apruebo. El plebiscito que enfrentaremos el 25 de octubre nace de un acuerdo a espaldas de la gente y entre una elite que ha sido parte y administrador de un modelo salvaje que ha saqueado nuestros recursos naturales y dejado en la miseria y la indefensión a miles de chilenos y chilenas. Son para nosotros, parte del problema y no de la solución. Así lo expresó el pueblo movilizado desde el 18 de octubre pasado cuando se levantó para exigir un país nuevo, más justo, menos abusivo. Un país en donde los pueblos manden y no un grupo pequeño de empresarios y funcionarios que obedecen a las grandes corporaciones y no el mandato popular”, señala el dirigente.
Juan Manuel Cáceres, agregó que “pese a ello es una oportunidad de disputarle el poder a los de siempre y nuestro partido ha decidido sumarse al desafío de denunciar y boicotear cada intento de los partidos del poder (Frente Amplio, ex Concertación y Chile Vamos) por legitimar un acuerdo que los mantenga disfrutando de sus privilegios mientras la dictadura económica de Piñera sigue disparando, torturando y mutilando al pueblo en las calles. Las y los igualitari@s entendemos el triunfo del Apruebo como un paso más en, lo que llamamos, La Vía de los Pueblos a la Constituyente. El verdadero escenario democrático es la Asamblea Constituyente que le devuelve su soberanía a los territorios y a las personas. El Apruebo y su triunfo aplastador es un paso más para desterrar el modelo heredado de la dictadura y que tarde o temprano desaparecerá en las manos del pueblo movilizado”
A nombre de la colectividad, efectuó una convocatoria electoral que se avecina, “a seguir movilizados, a seguir exigiendo en las calles y en cada espacio posible, un país que respete sus pueblos originarios, un país que deje de matar y violar a las mujeres, que considere y abrace a sus hijos con la ternura y el amor que se merecen. Que se organicen en sus territorios, que se acerquen entre quienes los rodean y den por iniciada la esperanza. Que la rebeldía se apodere de nuestros territorios y colaboremos, cada cual desde su individualidad, en el sueño de un Chile justo para todos y todas”.
