Liceo José Antonio Carvajal inició una campaña educativa contra de la violencia de género
La iniciativa surgió por los hechos de violencia hacia las mujeres que se han incrementado durante los tiempos de pandemia.
El Liceo José Antonio Carvajal inició una campaña educativa y de sensibilización en contra de la violencia de género, con el objetivo de educar a las estudiantes, apoderadas, funcionarias y comunidad en general con herramientas de prevención para visibilizar a las diferentes instituciones que prestan apoyo a mujeres en esta situación.
La iniciativa surgió por los hechos de violencia hacia las mujeres que se han incrementado durante los tiempos de pandemia, lo que motivó a las profesoras Laura Córdova, Valeska Rojas y a la encargada de Convivencia Escolar, María Isabel Mery, a generar una instancia de enseñanza contra este hecho.
La campaña partió el martes, 8 de septiembre, con un video educativo realizado por las mujeres de la institución; posteriormente, el miércoles, se realizó una charla virtual con la temática de difusión del protocolo de atención de víctimas de violencia de género en contexto de pandemia, que expuso Cristopher Cortés Tirado, consejero técnico del Juzgado de Letras y Familia De Chañaral, acompañado de los integrantes del Comité de Género de la Corte de Apelaciones de Copiapó.
También asistieron Aída Osses Herrera, ministra presidenta de la Corte de Apelaciones, Fabiola Villalón, magistrada titular del Juzgado del Trabajo y Edith Herrera Moya, magistrada titular del Juzgado de Familia, todas de Copiapó. Ellas dictaron una charla donde se conectaron docentes, estudiantes, encargados de convivencia escolar y orientadores de toda la comuna.
El jueves, 10 de septiembre, socializaron en redes sociales de infografías y afiches virtuales sobre prevención y de cómo realizar denuncias a las diferentes instituciones que prestan apoyo a mujeres en situación de violencia.
En ella dieron a conocer los teléfonos y correo de la institución para que las estudiantes o cualquier miembro de la comunidad pida orientación de las profesionales del equipo multidisciplinario o con el área de convivencia escolar.
Finalmente, el viernes participaron en un classroom de Convivencia Escolar, el cual es un taller educativo de violencia de género, dirigido a toda la comunidad educativa para que cada profesor jefe lo replique con su curso.
La campaña se extenderá por todo el año, “ya que es necesario estar atentas, seguir reforzando y educando tanto a hombres como a mujeres para que sientan que no están solas y que cuentan con apoyo de la comunidad”.
