Lanzan plataforma online gratuita para enseñar finanzas y economía a escolares
El taller de educación financiera “A Fondo en mi Futuro”, de la Asociación de Fondos Mutuos, estará disponible de manera gratuita para todos los estudiantes que cursen entre octavo básico y cuarto medio. Si bien el programa se ha realizado desde 2015, en más de 35 colegios del país, beneficiando a más de 10.000 alumnos, la novedad -a contar de septiembre de 2021- es que los jóvenes podrán inscribirse de manera individual y cursar de manera remota los 5 módulos del curso, mediante una plataforma interactiva, permitiendo así llegar con educación financiera a más personas.
“Hoy, nuestros esfuerzos están puestos en disminuir los índices de analfabetismo financiero que tiene la población en general y nuestros jóvenes en particular, por eso queremos que la educación financiera llegue a más jóvenes de distintas partes de Chile. Con esta apertura de la plataforma online los estudiantes podrán acceder de manera directa e individual, a diferencia de lo que veníamos implementando a nivel de colegios. Entendemos que las realidades de las familias son muy disímiles y existen dificultades de acceso; sin embargo, seguimos trabajando por implementar alternativas que nos permitan derribar el obstáculo de la conectividad”, sostiene Mónica Cavallini, gerente general de la Asociación de Fondos Mutuos.
A través de una metodología interactiva que combina lo teórico con lo práctico, los estudiantes recibirán conocimientos y herramientas para aprender a manejar sus finanzas personales (ahorro, inversión y gasto) de manera informada y responsable. Además, se pondrán a prueba resolviendo cuestionarios rápidos, realizando desafíos y tomando decisiones en torno a situaciones cotidianas que pueden afectar sus finanzas en la plataforma virtual. Y quienes resulten ser los 2 mejores alumnos de este taller a nivel nacional, recibirán su primer ahorro en fondos mutuos, a los alumnos que obtengan mejores resultados durante este proceso.
Las inscripciones se realizan a través de la página www.afondoenmifuturo.cl y una vez habilitado el usuario podrán acceder a las clases y actividades que se encuentran disponibles. El taller se puede cursar de forma autónoma viendo los videos de cada módulo, o se puede realizar de manera guiada a través de clases sincrónicas que se realizarán durante la tercera semana de octubre (ver fechas y horarios en recuadro), en las que un docente impartirá el taller y resolverá dudas.
