Junta de Vigilancia del Río Copiapó y sus Afluentes realiza Asamblea General y da cuenta de su gestión
La organización de usuarios que representa y agrupa a las comunidades de aguas y canales de riego desde el sector de cordillera, hasta la ciudad de Copiapó, quienes poseen derechos de aprovechamiento de aguas superficiales repartidas en 12.080 acciones de riego, realizó su asamblea anual con la presencia de más del 70% de sus acciones presentes, en un espacio abierto y con las medidas de prevención COVID correspondientes, la Asamblea se extendió por casi por tres horas, durante el desarrollo de la Asamblea se presentó una completa memoria contable y financiera, más el detalle de la gestión en cuenta de inversión del Directorio correspondiente al periodo 2020; entre otros temas.
Además, en la instancia, se revisaron las inversiones realizadas y se determinaron algunos proyectos, algunos en ejecución y otros que se concretarán durante el año en curso a través de la Ley de Riego N° 18.450, y convenio de cooperación con las empresas Mineras Caserones y Candelaria.
La audiencia, pudo aclarar en la ocasión dudas y además se generó un espacio de conversación y análisis de lo que ha ocurrido y lo que vendrá, en general, la actividad resulto un éxito y los socios manifestaron sus felicitaciones y agradecimientos a la organización, en especial dado que a pesar de la situación tras el COVID 19, esta fue capaz adaptarse rápidamente a estas nuevas condiciones, debiendo generar cambios y realizar esfuerzos con objeto de seguir con la labor y así entregar seguridad hídrica a quienes dependen del recurso hídrico como fuente de trabajo y sustento.
También en la ocasión se presentó un inédito material audiovisual, para que los regantes y la comunidad en general puedan visualizar de forma resumida y simple el trabajo que conlleva la labor para que el agua pueda ser entregada a los regantes.
