INE Atacama llama a vecinos de Copiapó a colaborar con la 18° ENUSC
Obtener información sobre la percepción de inseguridad, la reacción frente al delito y la victimización de personas y hogares, son algunos de los objetivos de la Encuesta Nacional Urbana de Seguridad Ciudadana (ENUSC), que el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas (INE) desarrolla a partir de una muestra representativa de zonas urbanas a nivel nacional y regional.
En la región la encuesta se está llevando a cabo en las ciudades de Copiapó y Vallenar. Para ejecutar esta operación estadística, los/las colaboradores/as del INE que realizan la recolección visitan cada vivienda perteneciente a la muestra y solicitan, en una primera instancia, los nombres de pila y edades de los integrantes del hogar para luego aplicar el formulario a través de un dispositivo móvil.
El director regional del INE Atacama, Fernando del Pino, señaló que “la información entregada en cada vivienda se encuentra protegida por el secreto estadístico. En consecuencia, las respuestas son absolutamente confidenciales como ocurre con todas las encuestas que realiza el INE”.
Agregó que “contamos con un kit covid de seguridad sanitaria con el objetivo de resguardar la salud de nuestros/as colaborares/as, así como de la comunidad informante, por lo que llamamos a los vecinos/as de Copiapó a contestar esta importante encuesta”.
El equipo desplegado en terreno en la ciudad de Copiapó está conformado por cinco recolectores/as y una supervisora, todos/as debidamente identificados con su credencial y vestimenta institucional. Finalmente, el director Del Pino recalcó que “es importante hacer un llamado a la comunidad para participar respondiendo esta encuesta, pues esto nos afianzará como región a contar con información de mayor calidad. Mientras más vecinos/as nos contesten la encuesta aseguramos tener mayor representatividad a nivel nacional”.
