La policía federal de Estados Unidos (FBI) confiscó el teléfono móvil del senador republicano Richard Burr bajo sospecha de «tráfico de información privilegiada», por vender acciones antes de que el nuevo coronavirus derrumbara los mercados, dijeron el jueves medios locales.

El funcionario, que preside el comité de inteligencia del Senado, entregó su dispositivo a los agentes del FBI que se presentaron con una orden judicial en su residencia de Washington el miércoles por la noche, según el periódico Los Angeles Times.
