El Rally Dakar 2021 comienza el 2 de enero y consta de 12 etapas
El Rally Dakar 2021 vuelve a tener como escenario a Arabia Saudi, tal y como ya ocurriera en 2020 cuando el famoso raid cambió de ubicación y saltó desde Sudamérica al país saudí. En esta ocasión, el recorrido cambia completamente al año anterior, los kilómetros de especial serán totalmente inéditos y se limitará mucho el número de pistas rápidas, lo que hará que este Dakar sea algo más lento y menos peligroso que el anterior sobre todo para los vehículos de dos ruedas.
Recorrido y mapa
Algo que no cambia respecto a la edición de 2020 es que el Dakar arrancará y terminará en la ciudad de Jeddah. Empieza el día 2 de enero con la etapa prólogo, un bucle de 11 kilómetros de especial: Jeddah-Jeddah. Tras doce etapas, con una jornada de descanso en medio, tras la sexta etapa, los pilotos cubrirán un total de de 4.778 kilómetros de especiales.
ETAPAS:
Prólogo (Sábado 2 de enero). Jeddah-Jeddah: 129 km totales | 11 km de especial.
Un inicio de sólo 11 kilómetros de especial para ir aproximándose al raid. El orden en el que terminen los pilotos definirá la salida de la primera etapa.
Etapa 1 (Domingo 3 de enero). Jeddah-Bisha 623 km totales | 277 km de especial. Esta primera etapa se desarrollará toda por pistas, los peligros serán las intersecciones que pueden provocar los primeros errores de navegación y los tramos de piedras.
Etapa 2 (Lunes 4 de enero). Bisha-Wadi Ad-Dawasir 685 km totales | 457 km de especial. La jornada está dividida en tres partes. La primera será el estreno de las dunas, la segunda de fuera pista y el final con pistas de arena.
Etapa 3 (Martes 5 de enero). Wadi Ad-Dawasir-Wadi Ad-Dawasir 629 km totales | 403 km de especial. En esta tercera etapa, el rally se adentra en el desierto. Habrá tramos bastante técnicos con dunas mezclados con otros de una velocidad mayor.
Etapa 4 (Miércoles 6 de enero). Wadi Ad-Dawasir- Riyadh 813 km totales | 337 km de especial. Es la etapa más larga del Dakar con nuevas trampas en la encrucijada de pistas que pueden despistar en la navegación.
Etapa 5 (Jueves 7 de enero). Riyadh-Buraydah 624 km totales | 419 km de especial. Una de las especiales más duras del rally con un gran número de kilómetros con dunas y tramos con bastantes rocas.
Etapa 6 (Viernes 8 de enero). Buraydah-Ha’il 655 km totales | 485 km de especial. La etapa previa al día de descanso será por completo de arena y, por lo tanto, de cordones de dunas.
Etapa descanso (Sábado 9 de enero). Ha’il
Etapa 7 (maratón) (Domingo 10 de enero). Ha’il-Sakaka 737 km totales | 471 km de especial. Arranca la etapa maratón. Una mezcla de montañas de arena con tramos llanos y pedregosos. Se permitirá hacer reparaciones en un parque de trabajo al que solamente tendrán acceso los competidores.
Etapa 8 (Lunes 11 de enero). Sakaka-Neom 709 km totales | 375 km de especial. Segunda parte de la etapa maratón y se alternarán las pistas de arena con las pistas de piedras.
Etapa 9 (Martes 12 de enero). Neom-Neom 579 km totales | 465 km de especial. El inicio será bordeando el Mar Rojo para pasar a pistas rápidas pero con arena.
Etapa 10 (Miércoles 13 de enero). Neom-AlUla 583 km totales | 342 km de especial. El comienzo de la etapa será una zona casi montañosa para más tarde pasar a pistas de arena.
Etapa 11 (Jueves 14 de enero). AlUla-Yanbu 557 km totales | 511 km de especial. Si la cuarta era la etapa más larga, esta es la especial con más kilómetros. Volverán las dunas al paisaje.
Etapa 12 (Viernes 15 de enero). Yanbu-Jeddah 452 km totales | 225 km de especial. La última etapa del rally será prácticamente toda de dunas. La meta está situada a orillas del Mar Rojo.

Tim Dillon, who makes a brief appearance in Joker: Folie à Deux, has described the new
sequel as ‘terrible’ and ‘the worst film ever made’.
The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix
as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Lady Gaga as Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn), faced negative reviews from critics before its October 4 release and flopped at
the box office.
Tim, 39, who played a guard at Arkham Asylum in the movie, said Todd Philips’s new film
has ‘no plot’ and admitted he knew it was ‘going to bomb’ while filming.
Speaking on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Tim said:
‘It’s the worst film ever made.
‘I think what happened, after the first Joker, there was a lot of talk like, ‘Oh, this was loved by
incels. This was loved by the wrong kinds of people.
This sent the wrong kind of message. Male rage!
Nihilism! All these think pieces.

way,’ and now they have Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga
tap dancing to a point where it’s insane.’
He continued: ‘It has no plot. We would sit there, me and these other guys were all dressed in these security outfits because we’re working at the Arkham Asylum, and I would turn to one of them and we’d hear this crap and I’d go, ‘What the f*** is this?’ And they’d go, ‘This is going to bomb, man.’ I go, ‘This is the worst thing I’ve ever
seen.’
‘We were talking about it at lunch, and we’d
go, ‘What is the plot? Is there a plot? I don’t know, I
think he falls in love with her in the prison?’ It’s not
even hate-watchable. That’s how terrible it is.’
Despite the negative reviews a number of fans of the sequel took to
social media after its release last month to defend the sequel to Todd Phillips’ 2019 motion picture.
The film debuted to a paltry $40 million at the
domestic box office, good enough for the weekend’s top spot,
but less than projections, and half that of its predecessor.
Amid the early returns, a number of fans took up for the
movie and its cinematic depth, in breaking away from
the cookie cutter nature of sequels to introduce a musical element not present in the first film, with Lady
Gaga joining the franchise.
‘Joker 2 was amazing,’ one user said, adding that it was
‘100% as divisive as people are making it
out to be. I love that the film didn’t try to be a traditional sequel,
and fully committed to the storytelling they presented. It never deviated to be a
film full of Easter eggs or any other crowd pleasing
aspects.’
Another user said, ‘I kinda loved Joker 2. I loved how it was structured as a
meta-exploration of the first film’s fandom and the musical elements were a lot of fun.’

best actor Oscar in 2019 – in the wake of the standing ovation it received at the Venice Film
Festival last month.
‘Gaga is surprised by the response to Joker 2 and is shocked that people don’t love it after the response it received from critics before it
premiered,’ a source exclusively told DailyMail.com.
‘She put so much heart into the movie and has so much respect for the
DC comics fan base.’
They added: ‘Her team is quietly looking at other projects they can roll out as they want to move
on this from as quickly as possible.’

But despite the lacklustre reception from fans, a
second source claimed she is not letting it deter her from returning to

‘She thought that this film could get her an Oscar nomination, especially since the
first film was such a success and Joaquin won an Oscar.
‘She would now like to land a role in Quentin Tarantino’s next and final film.
Nobody knows what that is going to be, but she wants to audition.
‘She’s going to lobby hard to get a meeting with him once a script is presented, it is a bucket list moment for her to be involved.’

Aussie actor Russell Crowe has always worn his heart on his sleeve – sometimes to his detriment – but he has vowed to
reel it in when watching his beloved Souths play NRL matches from now on.
Crowe became a co-owner of the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 2006, alongside businessman Peter Holmes à Court,
with the aim of revitalising the NRL club that was struggling
at the time.
Under his leadership, the Rabbitohs achieved financial stability and secured a premiership victory in 2014, ending a 43-year drought.

grandstands was potentially giving the media outlets a way of mentally affecting the team.
‘There was all these photos of me strangling the imaginary referee.
‘So, I thought, ‘I’m gonna stop doing that’. I’d go to a
game and see what happens then I’d go backstage and you can swear.
‘But when I’m watching the game, I try and keep my cool…because you know I
think about it from the players’ perspective.
They don’t want to see the boss looking like he’s pissed off in the Monday newspaper.
So you’ve got to be cool about it.’
Souths fans – including Crowe – endured a torrid 2024 season,
finishing 16th with a 7-17 record.
Injuries and suspensions played their part but
defensive frailties were the biggest issue, with the Rabbitohs conceding an average of 28.4 points per
game – their worst since 2006.
The Rabbitohs have gone back to the future by sacking coach
Jason Demetriou and re-instating former mentor Wayne Bennett

Injuries compounded their struggles, with key players like
Campbell Graham missing the entire season and Latrell Mitchell limited to 11 appearances.
The season’s disappointments led to the dismissal of coach Jason Demetriou, with Wayne Bennett set to return as head coach in 2025.
Looking ahead to 2025, the Rabbitohs have bolstered their roster by signing English halfback Lewis Dodd, Euan Aitken and Josh Schuster.
The 2025 season kicks off with a match against Bennett’s former club the Dolphins.
