El 73,89 % de los casos confirmados en Atacama está recuperado
Este viernes fueron incluidas otras 38 personas a las bases de datos de la región, lo que da un total de 1.467 contagiados hasta ahora.
(Por Frenny Kelly Granado) El número total de contagiados en la región ascendió a 1.467 con el diagnóstico de 38 nuevos pacientes en las comunas de Vallenar, Copiapó, Tierra Amarilla y Freirina. Sin embargo, solo el 26,11 %; es decir, 364 del total acumulado se mantiene activo con el virus, ya que 1.084 (73,89 %) se considera recuperado tras haber transcurrido 14 días desde el inicio de sus síntomas.
Esa es la información que ofrece el Ministerio de Salud (Minsal) con base en los datos que son enviados desde la Secretaría Regional Ministerial (Seremi) de Atacama; sin embargo, al calcular el número total de casos activos, considerando que los recuperados se extraen del acumulado confirmado, igual que el número de fallecidos, hay una diferencia de 10 que la autoridad sanitaria no explicó con mayor detalle.
“(…) No es algo propio de la matemática; lo importante acá son las diferentes definiciones que nos orientan en las acciones que tomamos, principalmente, con los casos activos, que los que tiene la capacidad de contagiar a más personas”, puntualizó Hermosilla en el balance regional ofrecido la tarde de este viernes.
Por otro lado, dijo que durante los últimos dos días fueron habilitadas dos residencias sanitarias en la comuna de Copiapó con una totalidad de 100 habitaciones que a su vez tienen capacidad para 130 personas, por lo que el nivel de ocupación descendió al 35 %, pero aprovechó la ocasión para solicitar a las personas mayor colaboración al momento de recibir la orientación de un traslado.
Esto a propósito de que han ocurrido “diferentes situaciones en las cuales los pacientes no han contribuido al trabajo que realizamos para trasladarlos a las residencias sanitarias y han generado inconvenientes dentro de ellas”, eso sin contar “la mala colaboración con los funcionarios”, motivo por el cual recordó que deben ser “responsables con su comportamiento una vez notificados como casos activos de covid-19”.
