Balance nacional: Casos activos quedaron a punto de superar los 20.000
El Ministerio de Salud informó que en las últimas 24 horas se registraron 4.064 casos nuevos y 21 fallecidos por Covid-19 en el país.
Del total de nuevos contagios, 781 casos presentan síntomas y 19.635 pacientes se encuentran en etapa activa del virus.
En las últimas 24 horas se informó la realización de 75.979 PCR, con una positividad del 5,04% por ciento a nivel país y de 5% por ciento en la Región Metropolitana.
Con relación a la Red Integrada de Salud, de un total de 1.963 camas críticas habilitadas, existen 240 camas críticas disponibles. Mientras que a la fecha, 460 personas se encuentran hospitalizadas en Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos, de las cuales 376 están con apoyo de ventilación mecánica.

En el informe la variación a nivel nacional de nuevos casos confirmados es de 87% y 66% para la comparación de siete y catorce días, respectivamente. Mientras que dos regiones disminuyen sus nuevos casos confirmados de los últimos siete días y 6 lo hacen en las últimas dos semanas.
La mayor tasa de incidencia por cada 100 mil habitantes a nivel nacional se registra en Tarapacá, seguida por Arica y Parinacota, Magallanes y Antofagasta.
