Autoridades realizan balance tras Fiestas Patrias en Atacama

Un positivo balance realizó el delegado Gerardo Tapia junto a autoridades regionales tras Fiestas Patrias en Atacama. Y es que los cuatro días de celebración estuvieron marcados por un amplio despliegue territorial en diversas áreas. En la ocasión, el delegado Presidencial Regional, Gerardo Tapia, destacó que “hemos tenido una tasa de accidentabilidad mucho menor que el año pasado y con menos afectación a las personas. Por lo tanto, estamos satisfechos desde este punto de vista ya que se hizo un gran despliegue en cuanto a fiscalización en salud, transporte, telecomunicaciones, energía, trabajo y justicia, estando todos atentos a cualquier tipo de incidente o afectación”.

“Como gobierno, hicimos un llamado a la prevención, al autocuidado y, junto a carabineros, PDI, nuestro gabinete y los municipios coordinamos las acciones que nos permitieron llegar a estos buenos resultados”, sostuvo el delegado.

A sus palabras se sumó Jessica Rojas, seremi de Salud de Atacama, quien indicó que “como Autoridad Sanitaria hacemos un balance muy positivo a propósito de las actividades desarrolladas durante este fin de semana de celebraciones por Fiestas Patrias, donde se efectuaron un total de 250 fiscalizaciones en fondas y eventos, con resultado de 2 sumarios sanitarios y el decomiso de 68 kilos de productos embutidos y pollo, los cuales se encontraban con características organolépticas alteradas. Asimismo, los equipos de fiscalización también realizaron más de 600 vigilancias sanitarias por el uso de la mascarilla, el Pase de Movilidad, el distanciamiento de 1 metro entre las mesas y el uso de señaléticas. Además, durante el fin de semana largo, se realizaron 24 fiscalizaciones a farmacias con resultado de 2 sumarios, entendiendo que son dispositivos que tienen que estar funcionando ante los requerimientos de nuestra población”.

En la misma línea, Carla Orrego, seremi de Transportes, indicó que desde la entidad realizaron “382 controles cursando 29 infracciones. En cuando a los terminales, se fiscalizaron 185 buses interurbanos. Es importante señalar que nosotros seguimos fiscalizando en el marco del plan preventivo, el que desarrollaremos hasta el 25 de septiembre”.

Por su parte, Mauricio Guaita, seremi MOP, señaló que “hubo normalidad en el tránsito de nuestras vías concesionadas, con más de 27 mil vehículos que circularon por la región. Los peajes funcionaron de forma correcta y se dispusieron todas las medidas necesarias para evitar la congestión vehicular”.

Asimismo, el General Luis Aguilera, Jefe de la III Zona de Atacama, señaló que carabineros realizó “más de 1058 controles de tránsito, de los cuales 65 se hicieron en conjunto con Senda, aplicando controles de alcotest y narcotest, lo que a nosotros nos favorece con respecto a la labor que se realizó en 22 puntos de control ejecutados en toda la región. Tuvimos 14 personas detenidas y 211 infracciones al tránsito, de las cuales 185 fueron cursadas, mayoritariamente, por exceso de velocidad. En cuando a las personas detenidas, la mayor cantidad se registró por conducción en estado de ebriedad. Tuvimos, además, 10 accidentes de tránsito en los cuales hubo 13 personas lesionadas y, lamentablemente, un fallecido en la comuna de Caldera”.

Prefecto Gerardo Peña, Jefe de la Prefectura Provincial Copiapó de la PDI, indicó que durante Fiestas Patrias “se realizaron cuatro procedimientos policiales por distintos delitos, con el resultado de dos detenidos. En general, el balance es muy bueno, la incidencia fue muy baja”.
