A las 15.00 horas de hoy Convención retomará sesión que elegirá nueva mesa directiva tras no lograr acuerdos
Pasadas las 04.00 horas de este miércoles y tras llevar a cabo ocho votaciones, la mesa directiva ampliada de la Convención Constitucional decidió suspender la sesión que elegirá a los nuevos liderazgos, luego de que no se lograran acuerdos para destrabar la elección.
Esto, fue informado luego de que los convencionales intentaran por poco más de dos horas definir un candidato común, luego de que en la última votación, que concluyó a eso de las 02.00 horas, nuevamente no se lograra la mayoría. En la instancia incluso los votos se dispersaron aún más, luego de que surgieran nuevos candidatos. Otro factor que predominó en la búsqueda de consensos fue la bajada de la candidatura de la convencional Cristina Dorador, quien pese a liderar la mayoría de las votaciones, no logró obtener los 78 votos requeridos para ser electa.
En este periodo, incluso empezaron a sonar nuevos nombres a última hora: Amaya Alvez (FA) y María Elisa Quinteros (MSC). «Nuestros plenos terminan con el objetivo logrado y esta vez no se logró, sin embargo estamos cansados y necesitamos dormir para tomar estas decisiones. Además, tenemos responsabilidades, aquí hay funcionarios», agregó Loncon al respecto.
Con lo anterior, la sesión se retomará a las 15.00 horas.
