Dólar registró leve caída este jueves y cotizó por debajo de los $910 pese a la debilidad del cobre

El dólar operó con una leve baja este jueves, pese a la fortaleza global que ha mostrado la divisa y a las caídas que ha registrado el cobre esta semana. A las 9:00 horas, el billete verde anotaba una leve caída de $1,99, en puntas de $909,86 vendedor y $909, 49 comprador.

Ricardo Bustamante, jefe de estudios trading de Capitaria, dijo que «el precio del cobre sigue con signos de debilidad, debido a las tensiones China-Estados Unidos, sumado a la debilidad económica y su impacto en la demanda del commodity».

«Por otra parte, el Dollar Index, que compara al dólar frente a las principales monedas del mundo, también se encuentra con estabilidad a la espera de mayores catalizadores», añadió.

COBRE VUELVE A CAER

Con una baja de 1,70% -la tercera consecutiva- cerró este jueves el cobre en la Bolsa de Metales de Londres (LME), al transarse en US$3,46635 la libra contado `grado A`, que se compara con los US$3,52623 del miércoles, y los US$3,54664 del martes. Con ello, el promedio mensual quedó en US$3,53411, mientras el anual retrocedió a US$4,25967.
