CGE en alerta por contingencia climática

Ante la decisión de la autoridad de decretar alerta temprana preventiva para la región de Atacama por posibles precipitaciones, la compañía de distribución eléctrica CGE activó su plan de contingencia para estos eventos, el que contempla el reforzamiento de operaciones para atender de forma expedita posibles interrupciones de suministro eléctrico.

El plan contempla medidas como el refuerzo de los centros de operación, el despliegue de brigadas de atención de emergencias SAE (Servicio Atención Emergencia) y equipos de atención domiciliaria, para atender interrupciones mayores que se podrían presentar de acuerdo al pronóstico meteorológico.

CGE dispondrá de brigadas pesadas –dedicadas a la reconstrucción de infraestructura dañada como postes y líneas eléctricas- que operarán en terreno y aumentará en tres veces el número de brigadas de atención de emergencia, con equipos provenientes de otras regiones del país, para atender posibles contingencias derivadas de las precipitaciones y otros eventos que puedan afectar la continuidad del suministro eléctrico.

Asimismo, la compañía dispondrá de personal especializado y generadores para atender posibles requerimientos de clientes electrodependientes en las comunas y mantendrá los generadores de emergencia instalados en hospitales a propósito del plan implementado por la pandemia.

CONSEJOS:

CGE hace un llamado a sus clientes a tomar algunas medidas de seguridad para evitar accidentes, como no acercarse a conductores o cables dañados o que estén en el suelo, ya que podrían estar energizados. También recuerda no intervenir las instalaciones interiores de las casas hasta la reposición del suministro ni intentar reponer el suministro por sí mismo, sino esperar a que las brigadas realicen su trabajo.

También se solicita facilitar el trabajo de las brigadas en terreno y el acceso a predios particulares. Si se cuenta con un familiar electrodependiente, se pide contactar a CGE para adoptar las medidas oportunas.

En redes sociales, la empresa recuerda a sus clientes que se informen del estado del suministro por la cuenta oficial de CGE y que cuando reporten una anomalía en el suministro indiquen la comuna de su domicilio.
