Alejandro Tabilo gana y se metió en cuartos de final del Challenger de Antalya
El tenista chileno Alejandro Tabilo (170º de la ATP) avanzó este miércoles a los cuartos de final del Challenger 80 de Antalya 2, en Turquía, certamen que se juega sobre tierra batida.
La segunda raqueta nacional fue de menos a más para vencer en la ronda de los 16 mejores al colombiano Daniel Elahi Galán (115º), con parciales de 2-6, 6-4 y 6-4.
El chileno solo necesitó un poco más de dos horas de juego para acceder a la tercera ronda del cuadro principal, fase donde se verá las caras con el italiano Alessandro Giannessi (165°).
Giannessi se convirtió en rival del chileno al derrotar en los octavos de final al egipcio Mohamed Safwat (147°) por 6-3 y 6-4.
Tabilo, de 23 años, cuenta como mejor clasificación en su carrera el 166º, de febrero de 2020, y ha ganado tres torneos en el profesionalismo: M25 de Aktobe (2019), el Futuro 2 de República Dominicana (2018) y el Futuro 6 de Chile (2016).
