Compañía CircOrbicular estrenó “Ilusiones del Desierto”, en festival Arte Río
*La obra, estrenada en el festival regional “Arte Río”, busca entretener a través de la personificación artística de los elementos naturales del Desierto de Atacama.
Del 17 al 19 de diciembre, el público atacameño pudo deleitarse en línea con la obra circense “Ilusiones del Desierto”, de la compañía local CircOrbicular, que fue presentada como parte del festival de Atacama “Arte Río”, instancia 100% gratuita y online, que reunió a expositores de distintas disciplinas artísticas de la zona.
La obra busca realzar el entorno natural de Atacama, con su extenso desierto, lleno de mitos y leyendas.
Así, los artistas personificaron diferentes elementos del desierto, desde minerales típicos de la región, hasta la mítica figura del Alicanto, el pájaro de los despoblados, que según la leyenda puede llevar a la fortuna o la ruina a quien siga su dorado plumaje, dependiendo de sus intenciones y corazón.
Al respecto Javiera Salazar, directora de CircOrbicular, comentó:
“El estreno ocurrió en el contexto del festival “Arte Río”, un festival muy grande que se hace acá en la región y dirigido también a la provincia de Huasco. Se hizo de manera online a través de www.festivalarterio.cl y las personas podían ingresar el 17, 18 y 19 (de diciembre), a ver todo este panorama cultural donde se rescatan artistas netamente regionales”.
“El propósito del festival es rescatar el arte y la cultura regionales, en ese contexto CircOrbicular estrenó una obra de circo llamada “Ilusiones del Desierto”, esta obra circense rescata el patrimonio natural de la región, y por ende se grabó en el desierto, ocupando los elementos del desierto y también retratando una historia sobre distintos personajes que se encuentran en él y personificando sus elementos, como el sol, la pirita, que es una roca que se encuentra aquí en la zona, y también quisimos rescatar la leyenda del Alicanto, que trata sobre esta ave dorada que según el corazón o la ambición de las personas se muestra de distintas maneras, es una leyenda muy ligada a la minería”, comentó finalmente.
