Tormenta Cristóbal amenaza con tocar tierra en la costa de México

La tormenta tropical Cristóbal se ha fortalecido un poco mientras avanza por el Golfo de México y se preparaba para tocar tierra este miércoles en la costa este mexicana dejando fuertes lluvias e inundaciones, informó el Centro Nacional de Huracanes (NHC, en inglés) de Estados Unidos. La agencia federal mantiene el aviso de tormenta tropical desde Campeche hasta el puerto de Veracruz, en México.

De igual forma prevé fuertes lluvias con acumulaciones de entre 10 y 20 pulgadas (25 a 50 centímetros) en El Salvador, Belize, Honduras y México, en este último en los estados de Campeche, Chiapas, Quintana Roo y Tabasco. La agencia federal alertó en su último boletín que Cristóbal, la tercera tormenta tropical de la cuenca del Atlántico, amenaza con inundaciones y deslizamientos de tierra en estas regiones.
